From August 10 to 16, 2026, Vranje will once again become the center of children's animation and creativity, as the 16th International Children's Workshop of Animated Film "Golden Snail 2026" awaits us. We expect lecturers, guests, mentors, children and young people from China, Belgium, North Macedonia and Serbia (Leskovac, Sopot, Leposavić and Vranje). In the collision of different cultures, languages, and ages of participants, we expect an explosion of creativity, hard work all day long and the creation of three animated films in three different animation techniques. In addition to group work that will take place in the premises of the School of Animated Film, we also expect a master class, a comic book workshop, and the 9th art for beginners. Of course, all guests and participants will have the opportunity to walk around the city, enjoy Vranje specialties, take a trip to the Prohor Pčinj Monastery, and participate in other formal and informal meetings.
