As part of the traditional event “Vranje Cultural Summer”, the School of Animated Film organized a series of film screenings during July, held every Wednesday over four themed weeks. These screenings brought together audiences of all ages and turned summer evenings into a place of art and social gathering.
Each screening had a special theme and was carefully prepared to show different parts of ŠAF’s creative work. On the first Wednesday, an Environmental Film Night was held, featuring animated films about ecology and environmental protection, produced by ŠAF. The second screening was dedicated to films inspired by children’s stories, fairy tales, poems, and jokes, bringing warmth, humor, and imagination to the screen.
The third evening was reserved for experimental films, which offered a different and more creative artistic approach to animation. The fourth screening was a retrospective, showing films made in previous years during the International Children’s Animation Workshops in Vranje, presenting the development and continuity of young creators’ work.
