The Public Institution School of Animated Film (ŠAF) once again organized the “Winter Magic” art competition for primary school students from the City of Vranje. The competition was open from November 20 to December 20, 2025, and a total of 130 artworks were submitted—80 in the category for students from the 1st to 4th grades and 50 in the category for students from the 5th to 8th grades.
Although the number of submitted works was slightly lower than in previous years, the quality remained outstanding. The young artists demonstrated remarkable creativity, imagination, and originality, reflected in their choice of motifs, rich use of color, and artistic expression. Due to the large number of high-quality entries, the jury once again faced the challenging task of selecting the best works.
The artworks were evaluated by Snežana Trajković, Chair of the Jury and Program Editor, Nela Ćurčija, Graphic Editor, and Seta Veličković Cvetković, Cultural Activities Coordinator, all employees of ŠAF.
The winning students received certificates and gifts consisting of drawing and animation supplies. As a special award, they were also granted the opportunity to attend the School of Animated Film free of charge throughout the year. The certificates and awards were presented by Jasmina Stojanović, Director of ŠAF.
The “Winter Magic” competition once again confirmed that there is strong interest in art and creative expression among young people, and that children’s imagination and talent deserve continuous support and encouragement.
